Emma Raducanu's Comeback Story: A Win for the Ages!

In her own words, "It was a very difficult match. We had to adapt to changing conditions, and coming on and off the court multiple times was a challenge. I haven't had many matches with such a short turnaround, so it was a new experience for me."
Osorio, ranked 82nd in the world, pushed Raducanu to her limits, but the former US Open champion showed her mettle. "Camila played an incredible match. I'm just glad I was able to turn it around today," she said.
This victory marks Raducanu's first win since September, after an injury-plagued 2025 season. Her off-season wasn't without its challenges either, with a "light bone bruising" on her right foot causing disruptions.
Raducanu's match against Maria Sakkari at the United Cup earlier this year was a tough one, coming just weeks after she returned to practice. But she proved her resilience once again, overcoming adverse conditions and a set deficit to start her Hobart campaign on a high note.
